Minimnya Akses Buku Bacaan Berkualitas, YNCI Dukung Gerakan ”1000 Rider Peduli Literasi”

Sejumlah rider yang tergabung dalam YNCI (Yamaha N-Max Club Indonesia) Chapter Banyuwangi, sabtu malam mendatangi basecamp Rumah Literasi Indonesia (RLI)di Desa Ketapang. Kehadiran komunitas pecinta motor ini menambah semangat baru serta mengubah pandangan masyarakat bahwa anak motor tidak hanya sekedar nongkrong membahas hal yang tidak produktif apalagi dipandang selalu membuat perilaku onar di jalan. Club ini memiliki misi yang sama dengan RLI agar pendidikan menjadi tanggung jawab bersama alias harus “diurus barengan”.

YNCI memiliki jaringan 124 Chapter (cabang) yang tersebar di seluruh pelosok Nusantara, dengan ribuan member yang telah jatuh cinta dengan produk dari perusahaan otomotif raksasa ini. Khusus di Banyuwangi keanggotaannya sebanyak 40 orang dan akan terus bertambah, karena tidak semua orang bisa menjadi member dan bergabung dalam YNCI.

“Syarat utama meraka yang ingin menjadi member di club kami adalah wajib memiliki SIM serta kelengkapan surat-surat kendaraan., sehat jasmani dan rohani , santun berlalu lintas dan tidak mengkonsumsi Narkoba”, jelas salah satu pengurus yang akrab dipanggil Mas Akbar.

 

Di bulan Oktober YNCI bersinergi dengan RLI untuk membuat event nasional, salah satunya adalah mendeklarasikan Gerakan 1000 Rider Peduli Literasi. Dimana kegiatan ini adalah bentuk kontribusi dan kepedulian anak motor untuk menjadikan pendidikan di Banyuwangi lebih baik dengan menggalang donasi buku untuk disalurkan kepada anak-anak di polosak desa yang memang sulit terjangkau karena akses terbatas, melalui program  yang telah diinisasi oleh RLI yaitu ”BOOKBUSTER” alias ”Pemburu Buku” maka buku-buku hasil donasi lebih mudah terdistribusi.

Setelah deklarasi nanti, YNCI juga memiliki mimpi untuk membuat rumah baca yang khsusus untuk membahas tentang dunia otomotif serta wadah untuk mengkampanyekan ”Safety Riding”.

“Kami akan mendukung dan mengawali gerakan ini di komunitas motor, karena kami percaya hanya dengan semangat gotong-royong maka misi kemanusiaan ini akan membawa pendidikan lebih baik, serta mengubah image rider yang salama ini dipandang punya perilaku negatif”, tegas Mas Akbar, rider beranak satu yang berdomisili di Kelurahan Klatak.

 

Pertemuan malam minggu tersebut ditutup dengan rencana aksi, dimana awal minggu di bulan Oktober YNCI akan mengadakan ”Gathering” (KOPDAR) di basecamp Rumah Literasi Indonesia sambil membahas program kerja kedepan. Tak lupa juga ada panggung literasi yang nanti akan diisi oleh komunitas Negri Dongeng Performance Institute.
